Our climate controlled warehouse monitors humidity and temperature and your items are always stored out of direct sunlight. That way we can ensure that your items won't be damaged while we store them for you. Our storage facility is only accessible to Boombox employees and is monitored 24/7. After our moving team loads the van with your items, the team transports your antiques, collectibles and records directly to our secure storage facility. At the warehouse the crew will barcode and photograph each item. The photograph will be uploaded to your online storage inventory along with a description of the item. If you are storing a box of vinyl records, or legal documents we will photograph the outside of your box and upload the photo along with any description you have written on the outside of the box. That way you will always know exactly what items are in your storage unit. You'll never have to hassle with a dusty San Francisco storage unit again!

We apply barcodes to each item, and photograph everything so there is a record of what’s in storage and what condition it was received in. Within two days of your initial pickup your online archival storage inventory will be accessible. We take a picture of the outside of the box and upload the picture along with the description of each antique, collectible or box of records. From there you can verify your online inventory by going through your full list of professional looking photographs. During the delivery process the crew will check off each item as it's delivered to ensure all your valuable collectibles have been returned to you.

We will wrap any furniture items in moving blankets to ensure that your antiques are safely transported to and from our warehouse, but you are responsible for packing any other valuables into moving boxes. Our rule is that if it fits in a standard moving box it should be in a box. Once the packing is done our moving team will load the truck with your items and you'll be all set from there.
